Responsibilities:
Primary accountability will be to support the Flushable Wipes Transformation Project. Support Wet Wipes Chemical Preparation optimization work to reduce or eliminate quality non-conformances. Provide functional leadership and creativity in the initiation of design, development, and optimization of manufacturing equipment and processes to meet unit objectives with focus on complying with the sanitary manufacturing standard. Be a leader in the application of engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project management. Responsible for execution of projects using the standard Project Workflow Map processes. Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner. Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies and guidelines. Provide for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance, and other personnel. Identify complex technical issues and provide necessary solutions to determine root cause. Assist in the development of others within the area of expertise. Follow Capital Appropriation guidelines to stay in control of project finances and asset accounting. Responsible for new asset documentation. DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-
Essential Functions:
Contribute to building capability within the Wet Wipes Engineering community with particular focus on improving PLC change management practices. Implement documentation and reports as required by the Wet Wipes business, effective communication, protection of proprietary information, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Education required/ preferred:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited College or University Preference for deep understanding of Family Care/Personal Care products, processes, and materials
Experience:
10
years of experience in technical, scientific, or engineering roles Critical Skills/
Qualifications:
Strong PLC programming skills. Experience with manufacturing control systems, such as:
PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers); variable speed motor drives; HMI (Human Machine Interfaces) distributed control systems; instrumentation; power distribution. Expertise in Electrical Engineering with a demonstrated ability to translate that knowledge into execution of process and capacity improvements in capital or expense projects. A demonstrated ability to perform in cross-functional teams to achieve project results within required timeframes.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Electrical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
