Your Role:
What you'll be doing The Small Business Liaison Officer is responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operation of the ULA Small Business Program. The SBLO will work closely with Prime Contracts, Finance, Estimating, Program, and Supply Chain personnel to develop and enhance the Small Business Program. The individual will lead outreach to small businesses and liaison between programs and potential small business suppliers and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with ULA's Small Business Subcontracting Plans and customer requirements. Scope of duties includes promoting the utilization of small business concerns for the achievement of ULA prime contract goals and ensuring compliance with small business subcontracting regulations. The Small Business Liaison Officer is responsible for:
Maintain and implement ULA's various Subcontracting Plans (Individual, Master, and Commercial) and monitor their overall performance. Ensure compliance to ULA's Subcontracting Plans. Work with proposal/program teams in creating Small Business Subcontracting Plans to assure maximum practicable opportunities for Small Business Concerns to participate in contract performance and to establish attainable goals. Prepare and submit timely semi-annual and annual small business reports to the Government and ULA customers. Interact with all levels of across the company, to include cross-functionally and all levels of management. Interact with government personnel to include Contracting Officers, Administrative Contracting Officers, DCMA, and the SBA. Lead, coordinate, support and facilitate Small Business Program Reviews conducted by DCMA and the SBA, as well as any other audits of the program. Review and approve small business plans and semi-annual small business reports from Lower-Tier Subcontractors. Review and report the effectiveness of small business utilization across the corporation to ULA leadership and provide notification of issues that may preclude the program's effectiveness. Issue and review ULA policies and procedures with regards to the Small Business Program to ensure that they comply with the appropriate statutes and regulations and that regulatory requirements are met and adhered to. Conduct in-house training to inform responsible personnel of the Small Business Program goals, policies, expectations, and requirements. Participate in outreach activities by attending small business conferences, events, and panel discussions to ensure good working relationships with local and non-local groups that support small businesses. Work with Supply Chain personnel to maintain the vendor master database and ensure the accuracy of Small Business concerns NAICS codes and business size standards and classifications. Engage in discussions with potential Small Business concerns and provide their information to appropriate ULA personnel for consideration in subcontracting opportunities. Your Background:
What education and experience you'll need Requires a bachelor's degree and 8-12 years of experience; advanced degrees are typically preferred at this level. Your Background:
What skills you'll need Must possess knowledge in Government subcontracting, Small Business Subcontracting Plans, FAR and FAR supplements, SBA Requirements, and SB Program audits conducted by DCMA and/or SBA. Previous SBLO experience for a federal government contractor preferred. Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple high visibility priorities. Must possess effective leadership, teamwork, organizational and presentation skills. Must be proficient with MS Office, specifically excellent Excel/Word skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written. Ability to establish and nurture beneficial relationships internally and externally. Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with internal and external organizations preferred. Strong marketing and communication skills preferred. Relocation Available No Summary Salary Range (Colorado Only) $90,286 - $141,051

$80K -- $150K

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
