Job Description

Position Definition


The MRP Controller II is responsible for conducting MRP activities in an accurate and efficient manner and providing customer service to the mill population.? This role also is responsible for ensuring accuracy of the Stores inventory in accordance with the clients? KCPM?s and Best Practices


Essential Functions


?? Administers and releases requisitions, if appropriate, for MRP Queue 1M1, 1M2, and 1B1, 1B2, 1C1, CM1, ISS, NEW, TLS and DEL on a daily basis.


?? Revise PO delivery dates and communicate appropriately.


?? Administers adequate levels of safety stock materials while identifying and reporting all obsolete and/or excess materials and updating information for Planned Delivery Times, Deletions, or Replacements.


?? Provides accurate information to Buyers in response to orders placed.? For all unknown responses, contact the MRP Coordinator, Process or Team Leader.


?? Release requisitions for expedited orders and communicate to appropriate parties in accordance with the BIL Best Practices.


?? Conducts Subcontracting for Repair orders and review for completeness if other MRP positions need assistance.


?? Administer inter-mill shipments and communicate accordingly.


?? Creates ATS, submits material request for disposition of decommissioned parts for obsoletes or duplicates per Planner.


?? Submits Mill Attachments and Deletion Flags.


?? Conducts Material Data Governance (MDG) by creating KC numbers and submits changes or corrections as needed.


?? Creates, review for completeness, and authorizes Delivery Notes as needed.


?? Tracks and communicates expedited orders monthly to Stores Leader and Assistant.


?? Update planned delivery times


?? Create requisitions in KC Marketplace as needed for EPO, warranties, and repairs


?? Retention of Stores documents in accordance with the Corporate Financial Instructions (CFI?s) and KCPM?s.


?? Maintain housekeeping in immediate work area, mrp area & file cabinets down stairs File cabinet housekeeping to include purging of old files & accuracy of items filed correctly each day.


?? Check spill kit seal in stores notify environmental is seal is broken.


?? Verify and manage interim bins (LB10, LX03) on a daily basis; resolve any outstanding issues.


?? Review and update the Esmart list to match SAP to include adding the notes.


?? Participate in physically counting inventories


?? Participate in safety activities, meeting, audits, reviews and Planned Inspection; enter work orders and SharePoint issues to ensure a safe workplace and environment.? Provide communications to improve customer service.


?? Will back up MRP1, Window 1 and PC Stores as needed.


?? Perform other tasks as assigned by the Stores Process Leader or Team Leader(s).


Minimum Qualifications


?? Must be able to meet pre-employment testing requirements


?? Must take and satisfactorily pass all safety training and testing for this position


?? High School Diploma or GED.


?? Must have a valid driver?s license


?? Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone) and transportation (public or private).


?? Must have a reliable means of transportation (private or public).


?? Must have the legal right to work in the United States.


?? Must be willing to participate in the Company?s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation


?? Knowledge of or ability to learn stores operations and processes.


?? Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.


?? Must have good organizational skills.


?? Must possess good communication and customer service skills.


?? Must be safety oriented.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
