Incumbent reports to the Product System Manager. This position is responsible for providing functional direction to multi-discipline support teams (Engineering and Maintenance) and Operations leadership of diaper machine(s). Handles safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping, employee relations and internal control issues in an expedient manner. In addition, the incumbent may lead a focus team to achieve a specific objective such as quality improvement/waste management. Most of the time is spent "on the floor" with the incumbent in continuous contact with team members regarding operations issues.
This position requires knowledge and ability associated with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent industrial experience. Considerable knowledge and experience in Operations, Engineering or Maintenance at the functional level. Demonstrates capability of facilitating projects/programs in a team environment while providing team leadership.

3. Personnel: Directly (48 Hourly) ? Indirect (6 Hourly)
Ensure the efficient and safe operations of the diaper and pants machines in order to attain machine safety, cost, housekeeping, production, customer service and quality objectives. Coordinate maintenance work performed, or mechanical process changes made in their area of responsibility to ensure the least possible amount of downtime and ensure efficient operations. Evaluate recommendations from engineering sources for product or process innovations to ensure changes compatible with operating goals. Select, coordinate the training of, schedule and provide a good employee relations climate for the Operations Department personnel to ensure effective teams and to enhance continued operation of a non-union plant. Develop and ensure the implementation of special plant and Corporate projects to meet cost management objectives, increase company profitability and meet changing production requirements. Ensure safety programs are planned and implemented for the Operations Department to increase the safety awareness of the department personnel. Develop the subordinates in the department to their fullest capabilities and allowing them maximum job satisfaction. Ensure the effective application of internal control systems and procedures applicable to the functional areas of responsibility by providing management direction and support to the implementation, maintenance and audit of Corporate, Company and Plant internal control policies, instructions and procedures. Engage in frank, open and timely dialogue with deputies to provide them with: criteria based assessments of their job performance and career growth potential; opportunities for development; and recognition to reinforce growth. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
