This position will provide leadership to manage the day-to-day operations of the Baby / Child Care Asset base as part of the Beech Island manufacturing site.

End users of products, site and sector management, infant care manufacturing teams, planning, distribution, as well as technical services/engineering/reliability teams, other Kimberly-Clark Plants, Customers, and Consumers

Scope

The incumbent reports to the Beech Island Baby/Child Care Plant Manager. He/she has responsibilities for six diaper machines and three child care machines. The incumbent provides leadership for a team which typically includes members from multiple functional groups within the plant. Objectives typically are focused at the department and asset level.

Qualifications/Education/Experience Requirements

This position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering related discipline, and a minimum of 15 years of experience with a minimum of 10 years of direct leadership experience (including salaried and hourly employees). The successful candidate must have the ability to organize and plan, delegate, lead, develop team members through coaching/developing and performance improvement, motivate/effectively influence across all levels of the organization, and maintain effective control.

This position requires mill operations experience including providing leadership to multiple functions (operations, maintenance and engineering); experience in assessing operational effectiveness; providing leadership in implementing change with hourly and salaried team members; and building leadership talent of a diverse workforce. The ideal candidate would have breadth of operations knowledge including both mill and staff/corporate experiences.

Maintain a positive work climate and working conditions; e.g., safety, housekeeping, employee relations.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
