Envir Health Safety Manager - SITE

Job Description Position Purpose:  To provide overall leadership for the Environmental, Health, Safety and Security systems for the Beech Island Mill in support of a safe, secure, and profitable operation. Key Customers: Key customers include all Beech Island Mill employees, Sector Safety and Environmental team, mill safety team members, hourly and salaried leaders. Scope:  The incumbent reports to the Family Care Mill Manager and has the responsibility to coordinate all EHS efforts across the site, both Family Care and Baby Child Care. The incumbent must work collaboratively with the Sector and Global EHS leaders, and all mill leaders to identify and lead appropriate initiatives that deliver continuous improvement in EHS results. The Beech Island site has a diverse asset base that supports Baby Child Care and Family Care Sectors.  Qualifications/Education/Experience Requirements:  The successful candidate must have the ability to organize and plan, delegate, lead, develop team members through coaching/developing and performance improvement, motivate/effectively influence across all levels of the organization, and maintain effective control.  Basic qualifications include: A Bachelor's degree in Safety, Risk Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Health, or equivalent experience Candidates with the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential preferred Five - ten years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 - 5 years in an EHS Leadership role. Extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other federal and state agencies Demonstrated management and leadership experience Strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills Expectations and Accountabilities: Provide management and leadership in safety, health, environmental and sustainability. This requires participation in efforts to reach World Class objectives of safety, quality, customer service, and includes managing a process for continuous feedback and system assessment. Provide leadership and direction for EHS professionals mill-wide. Provide leadership and direction for site occupational health nurse and site emergency response coordinator. Responsible for safety initiatives that achieve site safety objectives and result in an improvement in the site safety performance in the short term while building the basis for ongoing, continuous improvement to a World Class performance level. Create and foster programs that lead to the creation of a culture where safety is recognized as a value and employees are motivated to develop and to use safe work habits. Ensure site compliance with South Carolina OSHA, DHEC, EPA, NFPA, and other federal and state mandated EHS regulations. Lead the team that implements site-wide safety and environmental initiatives including the Kimberly Clark EHS Management System and associated EHS Performance Standards. Identify, evaluate and coordinate implementation of new methods and approaches to accelerate safety and environmental improvement at the Beech Island site. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
