Lead Engineer Process

Position Summary Process Engineers at Kimberly-Clark initiate design, develop, optimize, and problem solve manufacturing processes in a manner that meets safety, quality, and operational performance expectations. The Process Engineer for this role will provide leadership and creativity in the design, development, optimization, and problem solving for Wet Wipes manufacturing and converting processes. The incumbent reports to an Engineering Manager at the Beech Island Mill and receives direction in the form general project objectives. Responsibilities: Drive improvement in speed, waste and delay per asset objectives.   Ensure conformance to FPS, review results and initiates programs to reduce variability to meet quality scorecard metrics. Identify cost savings opportunities and manage expense spending to unit budget limits. Lead and support the operations teams in trouble shooting. Share knowledge with the crews, maintenance and other engineers. Effectively interface with inter-mill departments, staff LCM Process team, Research and Capital Execution teams. Develop and incorporate best practices to optimize key outputs. Develop knowledge and skills in leadership of the application of engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project management. Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner. Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies and guidelines. Provide for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance, and other personnel. Identify complex technical issues and provide necessary solutions to determine root cause. Assist in the development of others within the area of expertise. Basic Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Pulp & Paper Engineering from an accredited college or university. Requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in a variety of technical or operational assignments in a manufacturing or R&E environment. Strong experience using manufacturing analysis tools, such as:  statistical process control, design of experiments, process capability studies, Six Sigma and lean manufacturing. Preferred Qualifications: Specific, in depth technical knowledge and expertise in Tissue or Airlaid manufacturing, chemical preparation and converting processes. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
